All the manufacturers will return to "business as usual" on Sept. 13th. No doubt they're already ready to meet demand and have informed their dealerships, and taken pre-orders as well.
It's just that most of them aren't going out of their way to trumpet the fact for political reasons.
I've got my tools and parts ready to add evil features to my main rifle. It'll take about half an hour to do it, I think.
My main rifle is ban era, though as it's made on a homebuilt receiver I cut from a raw forging,
nobody can prove that it isn't preban. I'm just honest about it. The upper's barrel USED to
be a preban, but I turned the threads off it and installed a lugless sight tower and put a collar on
over where the threads used to be. I'll be removing the collar, chucking the barrel up in the lathe,
and turning custom threads (7/16-something, probably NEF series) and will be loctiting and applying heavy torque to the new filler that will be screwed onto the new threads. And then that gets turned
down again, to half inch, and the 1/2-28 NEF threading will be restored. Practically nobody will be able to tell that it was ever neutered to comply with the pointless and unconstitutional ban.
