Some 60,000 pounds of ammonium nitrate, a chemical used as both fertilizer and a component in explosives, went missing as it was shipped by rail from Wyoming to California last month, prompting four separate investigations.
Ammonium nitrate is commonly used as fertilizer. It's also an ingredient in high explosives and was used in the homemade bomb detonated in the 1995 attack on the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City. https://www.kqed.org/news/11949697/california-officials-trying-to-track-down-missing-30-ton-shipment-of-explosive-chemicals |

Whelp. Guess we know what the next big zomgwtfbbq event will be.

Lol, if it's like my RR, it's probably a trail of granules stretched out over a hundred miles from a leaky hopper

Bet it was those Patriot Front Nazis that pop up in the media from time to time.

Now, sit down and consider how much meth and opiates we move every year.

You're God damn right. |

Reading is not fundamental, at least in GD.
It was a hopper car and one of the gates was not closed properly, or secured closed ( or maybe broken ) They said several things. |

It’ll be found with some moron militia that’s got 1 member and 9 handlers from 4 different alphabet agencies. We’ll also get the nutcases manifesto inside of 2 hours professing his hate fetish for some random group. |

Odds that the marxists have already given it to their next Timothy McVeigh’s so they can use the deaths of innocents to go after their political opponents?

Well on the bright side our border is secure so we don't have to worry about foreign agents getting a hold of it to do harm to America and her people.

I would imagine it has more to do with $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ than terror.
That's a fuck ton of money. |

They can't take it to San Franciscograd to clean up that sh*thole. No freight trains run up there and it's only a commuter train, CalTrains.
Bet it's run down to LA where it can't possibly do any harm. |

The actual story here is that you can take a big assed vacuum cleaner between Saltdale and Cheyenne and become an ammonia baron.

You mean covertly misappropriated by the man, to fulfill their agenda, domestic or otherwise.
Anyone taking bets on which it'll be? |

I don't even think Oklahoma was 60,000 pounds.

It sounds like a lot at face value but weight limit on each car in my AO is 286,000 lbs which 220,000 of that is product. 60,000 is a rounding error or a shitty hopper slide |

I guess they better hire some extra mowing and trimming crews for that section of track.

So the hopper was left open and the pellets leaked out the bottom? So it’s not missing, just spread out over hundreds of miles of rail-line.
