The correct answer is Kosciusko, unless you're a kurwa.

For Tier One....Go to Amazon, search for Austrian Mustards. The stuff in tubes.

It's not cheap, but Austria makes fantastic mustard.  I used to work for an Austrian company, they'd bring us mustards and we gave them Carolina Treat BBQ sauce (which is total crap but they loved it.)

The grocery store German mustards are okay, but not in the same league.

Variety Pack

If you want Düsseldorfer Löwensenf, buy the tubes, better than the jars.

Hotter :-)

For just plain everyday mustard, I do like Plochmans, and Colemans

For more of a horseradish kick, I like Board Head, Inglehoffer.

Stone Ground: Gulden, Boars Head

Indeed.  We used to train (they still do) using the hydrant -16 in. main- across from Webers. Pumper feeding our aerial ladder, 1000 gallons a minute into the vacant lot across the street. Good times.

If I can only pick 1 (needs to be versatile), and it must be widely available, then I think it has to be Alsteror Dusseldorf.

Fireman's if you like spicy. If not pretty much anything made by Pommery is world class.

I’ve had every kind of mustard, many are good for dipping and what not, but I always come back to regular yellow mustard, usually Frenches or Plochmsns, you can get them now all natural too.

The Sam's Choice Cuban style mustard really punches above it's weight class.  Not best but really really good for cheap and available.
