however if you're turbogay and love the cock mention the poop and burning rivers. Go on you can't help yourself. We all know you're here. Nothing wrong with that.

I came up in Cleveland. Lived on E60 off Sinclair for a while, and stayed at lots of spots in between and into the west side. Spent my time as a little kid in the southeast suburbs. It's in my DNA and always will be. They call me "216" at work.

I made deliveries to East Cleveland for a company outside of Boardman OH 2 days a week and in Youngstown OH 2 other days.

East Cleveland is/was a horrible shithole but, what's funny is the East Cleveland guys were afraid of Youngstown.

"You deliver in Youngstown!! Fuck that! You could never get my black ass in that place!!"

My buddy got robbed 3 times in Cleveland and after I had to pull my gun on a bunch of hood rats that tried to corner me in an alley,  I called the boss/owner and quit on the spot.

Fuck that shithole, I'll never go back!

Native Clevelander here, grew up in PARMA! Now an expat in VA

Was at the RedRight88 game and spent many a weekend in the flats in the 80s.

And I hated that commercial.

I can still hear that jingle.  Too bad I'm a day late to share it.
Worked in East Cleveland for a couple years.  The mailman told me if I ever worked late to not bother stopping for red lights on my way out.  We had a fenced in parking lot that was patrolled by security and still had people breaking car windows and stealing stuff.
Once I was chatting with my crew in my office and a police officer walked past.  This was very unusual, since we were in a "secure" part of the building (electronic lock on the only door in, no other access).  I got up and asked him if I could help him. He said "no" and left.  Turns out the ECPD were doing a drug bust a block away and had a runner.  Guy ran past our lot security, through our front door security and hid somewhere in the building.  I like to think he bluffed his way onto the payroll. He'd fit right in. Probably CTO at this point.
And mandatory in any Cleveland thread:

East Cleveland is actually pretty cool to drive through. Abandoned overgrown blocks, old factories, and mansions look pretty wiled in the summer.

That’s what the cops told us too when we lived there.

I guess I’m lucky.  At the time I was in college and working down in The Flats.  I’d drive home, into East Cleveland at 3:00am most nights.  Nothing bad ever happened but lots of people tried to sell me drugs.

East Cleveland was worse in the 90s its mostly abandoned now.

I remember people chasing down your car wanting to sell you Crack. A cop told me even if you don't smoke Crack you better buy some if they catch you boxed in at a light.

Same.  My boss didn't like taking Euclid to go downtown, so he'd use side streets and blow through the stop signs.  Silly me, I stopped.  And I got mobbed by entrepreneurs.  I admire their hustle!

Cleveland ain't all bad.

Tailgating in the muni-lots before a Browns game is pretty awesome compared to some other stadiums.

Also, the strip of bars right by the stadium reminds me of Wrigleyville.

Spent a lot of time in downtown Cleveland. Still do. There is a lot of great places to eat. A lot of ethnic food. Cleveland is no worse than most major cities. Some of you need to get out more.

LOL!

When I was a cop in Youngstown in the 1990s (a couple of years we were competing with DC on the murder rate), the Bloods and Crips tried to move in on the Youngstown gang banger drug trade. A few executions later, the Bloods and Crips left. If the Youngstown gang bangers didn't do it, the Youngstown mob would have. In a documentary about the Yougstown mob, mobsters from Cleveland and Pittsburgh interviewed said that Youngstown racketeers were crazy and you don't go in there uninvited.
