Prayers. Get him to chicago. Don’t wait. I listened to some members here and got my son to the childrens hospital after they couldn’t figure out what was wrong in the local hospital after a week.

Like a couple others have already written, it's time to seek a second opinion from those more experienced. That's not a knock on your family physician.
We had doctors here in Austin, a fairly large city at that time, with experience with pediatric cochlear implants, but we sought a surgeon with extensive experience with cochlear implants for our son's surgery. Thankfully we had family in Dallas to support us, so it was an easy decision to seek surgery there at the hands of an experienced surgeon. Godspeed OP. You and yours are in my prayers tonight. |
