Me thinks that a thief who would resort to sawzalls and battery operated Dremels is going to get your guns anyway. I once read soemwhere a quote that went something like this "what man can lock, another man can unlock", it is true, no matter what you spend on security all you are really buying is self assurance. I am not saying that there is no point in buying a good safe, everyone here should have one, but to believe it is going to ensure your guns are not stealable is a false beleif. I think I will be ordering a couple sets of these shakle deals, I have been keeping some old Mosins, and Turk Mausers in a closet with the bolts removed and lock in a safe, this may do well for them, at a very attractive price, plus it's not as bulky as another safe. As far gun security I figure on spending as much on a safe as I paid for the most expensive gun I am going to keep in it.
edited to add: there is another good point to the cheapo Wal-Mart sheetmetal boxes, they are of just the right size to camoflauge, my bro has one that he keeps guns in he rarely shoots, he was with no difficulty or imagination able to hide it in a way that it would likely never be noticed, he also hung a bubbaized Mosin Nagant, and a beat up 10-22 over his mantle and called them his sacrificial guns (figuring that once they got those maybe they wouldn't be looking as hard for more)
