There are 65 run slots available (max 8 of these are night runs), some of which will be taken by staff, and there will be 10 stand-by slots.
Bookmark this thread and watch the run list.  If you are on the list and aren't able to attend, let me know two weeks in advance at the latest.


INFORMATION AND RULES
LISTEN TO CW EVENT STAFF - if they tell you not to do something and you do it, you will be asked to leave.
No loaded firearms in camp. The hosts will be armed.
You must sign liability release waiver for injuries when you arrive on site. Everyone, not just runners.
Bring legal form of identification.
Follow all firearms safety rules.
No handling firearms after drinking.
No airsoft at this event. Do not bring them.
No items of a sexual nature, there are kids around.
If you break any of these rules you will be banned from this and all future Cola Wars.
No personal ATVs/Side By Sides/Dirtbikes. unless you have been in contact with me or another one of the hosts, leave them at home.
Don't wander around the property.
No playing on the obstacles.  You'll have plenty of chance to fail it during your run
No spectators at the range.


Required Items:
Rifle of choice + 2 standard capacity mags for said rifle.
Pistol of choice + 2 standard capacity mags for said pistol.
72oz of cola of your choice or a gallon of milk. 6x 12oz cans, 3x 24oz cans, or 1x 2liter with a 5oz chaser are the only allowed sizes. (Other nonstandard sizes will be considered a 2liter)
Ear and Eye protection.


COURSE:
5 OBSTACLES
PEEPS/AK (The AK must be disassembled down to the bolt removed from carrier,
then reassembled, hammer dropped and placed on safe.)
RUN 1/2 mile
SHOOT
CHUG 72oz carbonated beverage of choice. Or 1 gallon of milk.


COURSE RULES:
5 minute penalty for each failed obstacle.
You must put in an honest attempt on each obstacle, none of this one hand and count bullshit.
Last Peep must be in mouth before run.
You must complete the half mile run in 10mins or less or face a 30min penalty (stop being fat/slow)
2 Standard Capacity Mag Rule in effect, same as last year. (20 pistol, 30 rifle)
5 minute penalty for each target left un-hit.
5 minute penalty for hitting pistol targets with rifle.
10 minutes total allowed on range.
5 minute penalty for each Carbonated beverage un-chugged.
10 minute total chug time allowed, everything left after will be penalized.
6x 12oz cans, 3x 24oz cans, or 1x 2liter with a 5oz chaser are the only allowed sizes.
If you vomit before finishing a 12oz can, no matter how much is left that can it is a 5 minute penalty.
If you vomit before finishing a 24oz can, no matter how much is left that can is a 10 minute penalty.
If you vomit before finishing 2 liter it is a 30 min penalty


Night run only: 5 minute penalty for light ND, 10 minute penalty for prolonged use. All night runs must be both suppressed rifle and suppressed pistol.


Restrooms: Porta-johns on site.  Bring TP in case we run out.


Camping: There is plenty of room to camp, please only camp in the designated areas. If in doubt, ask a member of the staff.
Camping is Wednesday, Thursday, Friday only.
Camp fires are to be limited to the designated fire rings only.


GPS coordinates will be sent out a week in advance via the email that you signed up with. make sure you sign up with a valid email address. Do not post these anywhere.
Questions are great, but please keep an eye on this original post (OP) for the latest and greatest info. This is a family event. We look forward to seeing the next generation of Cola Warriors advance through the ranks. If you've never been to a CW event, you won't be disappointed, these are the greatest human beings you could ever hope to puke with.

I want to make something clear ahead of time for this year's event because of past issues with stragglers, people trying to game start times, and generally disorganized clusterfucks on two legs:

When you arrive, park and come sign in. You will be put on the run list immediately. There will be staff at the gate to check you in. You will run when you are called, so take care of whatever you need to take care of PRIOR TO BEING CALLED TO RUN. If you're the next runner on the list then get your gear and get on deck immediately. If you fall within the next 3 runners to be called you need to get your gear to the line quickly and wait to be called. Don't waste our time trying to find you. Knowing where you are on the list IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY and we will have it displayed in camp.


If staff calls you and are still waiting on you 30 minutes later because -insert excuse here- then you are getting bumped off the list and we'll get back to you IF WE HAVE TIME. We have upped the number of runners this year and need to be as efficient as possible.  This event will hold awards by 12pm noon on Saturday at the latest.

One more thing:



If I see anybody show up and start drinking immediately to prevent themselves from having to run, you're gonna get your feelings hurt. You need to make sure you won't have to run that day before you drink because this is a competition first. You will be bumped to the bottom of the list and we'll get to you if we have time.
