I saw on the local news: last weekend 14 hit and runs, last month 96, 416 so far this year, last year 12**. Just in Springfield, pop 110,000 or so. Thats messed up. Hope you can get something going to get you "thur".

Probably a bunch of illegal Mexicans with no insurance. Even if you could catch up with the deadbeat they wouldn't have the funds or coverage to fix your car.

Shit happens, one of my coworkers got side swiped by a tractor trailer going 60+ mph on I-95. Since he didn't get the trucks plate info or have collision insurance he lost a $3000 dollar car.
