There's absolutely no reason the US would have a higher death rate than other countries that either did nothing/little or about the same (lock downs in major metro centers). It makes absolutely zero sense.
I don't believe it.

For example. The US has 1,540 deaths/million
Russia has 573/million even after they added a bunch recently. Keep in mind, their population is mostly in the cities- and believe it or not their testing capabilities are pretty robust...also remember their general health sucks (especially for the high risk older folks) and their healthcare sucks. Oh, and they didn't do anything besides encourage people to work from home and close the border.
Sweden is lower and didn't do shit.
Mexico is a shit hole with shitty medical care and theirs is lower too.
Turkey did very little and is at 331/million

Nope, I don't believe it for a second.
