On the other hand unless KA3B is a g33k, the Lap and WAP are probably setup in Default modes and his neighbors can get broadband for free. Ahhhh... a new Hotspot is born

Isn't that the truth...I've got 3 different wireless networks I'm able to log into, if I were so inclined.

Go to this link (I know it's for Dell routers but it's useful) and download the two microsoft patches to yse the WPA excryption scheme. It's much more secure than WEP.
