We have some central american fellows down the road that live in a tent and camper shanty.
They recently been staring people down when they drive by, and one brandished a gun to me (flashed a pistol in the air), probably because I stared back. Sherriff was called and they took down info and said they'd investigate but haven't heard anything yet. Today my neighbor said there was a goat on his back porch last night and he didn't know what to do lol. I told him to call the sherriff and two units responded. They had animal control take the animal. Now I got to thinking and isn't that a gang sign that you are marked for death? |

Who would waste a perfectly good goat just to tell someone that you are going to kill them?
|
|
As long as the goat wasn't standing on the hood of my truck...problem? IDK.
|
|
maybe they fed the goat sticks of dynamite and it failed to detonate?

Pretty sure the goat offering means "I would like your daughters hand in marriage."

Quoted: I see no problem with a free goat. View Quote Goat wants to be dinner? No issue with that. I had some neighbor's goat come up to my place. Tried to come into the house too. It loved being scratched. Anyway, just I'm not into rustling, I'm not stealing someone's goat or cow (yeah, cows have wandered onto my land). |

Sleeping with the fishes sounds better than sitting on the back porch with the goat.

Or was it just freely hanging out in said neighbors porch? lol |

Kill the goat and put it's head on a pike out in front of the squatter's camp.

I see it as a free hedge clipper, lawn mower, trash disposer/composter etc. Dinner some day. And goats are kind of cool! |

Talking goat chained to an old car?
Strange. If a goat just wandered up to my back porch, I doubt I would call the police. |
|
Call the cops over a goat? I'd put it in the truck and drive over to their encampment and ask if anyone lost this. After taking funny pictures of the goat

|
People starting shanty towns and pulling guns on you in your neighborhood? Wtf
|

When calling rhe police use the term "suspicious " it goes a long way.

Did the goat flash it's high beams at the neighbor or something?

Quoted: Where did this happen? View Quote Don't want to be too specific but lets say mid south east near a large town but out in the county. This is a pretty odd situation for here. Those new guys standing on the side of the road who brandished me definately looked out of place. Now the goat has me fucking paranoid. Neighbor is still alive BTW. for now |

Cool shit like that never happens here...
If anyone winds up with a mini donkey on their porch please let me know, my daughter wants one but the prices are anything but minature..... |

Quoted: People starting shanty towns and pulling guns on you in your neighborhood? Wtf View Quote Yes 100% serious, the shanty has been there for a while but unoccupied. Codes has been called but nothing has been done yet. I guess these fuckers just slithered into a new shell out here. Probably don't know a few crazy rednecks with a small arsenal between them live further on down. |

Quoted: When I was a little kid we moved into a new house and the previous owners had left a cat. My mom told me to get rid of it so I threw shit at it and chased it down the road on my bicycle. It came back and sat on the porch. I picked it up went inside and told my mom "He came back, I'm keeping him" and she shrugged. I have no idea what that has to do with the goat story. View Quote All I got out of it is that you like to handle feces. |

Thanks for clearing that up |

Anyone in the neighborhood own a backhoe?
Might be time to bury the trash, and clean up the place a bit? |

Left, or did the goat walk back there? If left, I would eat it and bring them some.

Luckily I don't have any that live near me, they're usually hidden in the trees or overpasses till the trail of garbage leading to them becomes visible and the massive heap rises above the tents. Then they get pushed out, area cleaned up, and they start the process over somewhere else. I fucking hate them so. |
