Who was the better President?

Donald Reagan

trump, but only because he wasn't a gun banning faggot (kind of was, but not to the extent of reagan)

reagan was a horrible president

Reagan was the most overrated Republican in history.

Reagan was a progressive.  Open border.  Pro-amnesty.  Spoke of small government but it grew under his eight years of tenure.

Trump is a New York liberal that just happens to be a Nationalist who loves his country.

Both hate freedom sticks.  Both we’re big spenders.

If I had to pick one, Trump.

Everyone tends to romanticize the Reagan years but there were a lot of problems, I'm not so sure he was really in charge much like Xiden won't be either. On the other hand,  You never saw a debate performance from Reagan like the first Trump performance in the fall. That was a complete disaster and probably sealed his fate

Trump is breaking free of the deep state and we will not see the Dem or Reps as people break away from them.

Reagan did no such thing.  He even had a ex-CIA VP, mr. globalist GHW boosh.  Neu Welt Ordnung and 1,000 pts of lite sh*t.

Reagan's deficit spending put us on the path to where we are today. But, but, but, he broke the Soviet Union!  BFD! They were never the menance we made them out to be. Reagan was better than either of his opponents, but considering who they were that isn't saying much.

Reagan was a much smoother talker.

Trump got way more done.

That debate did not change a single vote. Trump won by a landslide. Remember, they had to stop the counting in PA, GA, and MI to up their cheating.

Yet ever single thing he did, with the exception of judges possibly, is about to be undone in the next year. Reagan was able to bring people into the party, Trump was only ever effective at motivating people against each other.

Reagan was a pivotal point in politics and I use to think he was the best, but the more I read about him the less Im enamored with him.

Trump was equally pivotal for better reasons. HATED by the left and genuinly loved his country.

2A wise, If bumpstocks were Trumps worst 2A offense I'd take him over Reagan 10x.

ETA: Donald Reagan or Ronald Trump would be the best. Maybe even a Ronald Donald.

Deficit spending was inevitable when we went off the gold standard. And spending is from Congress.

So much misinformation already.

It didn't with us and our types, however he might have done much better those little mushy Corporate America / Chamber of Commerce "Republicans" and women in the affluent suburbs if he would have been totally on his game acting presidential and driving home what's he's accomplished. Bullies and big ego's threaten these suburban types and Karen's mainly because they are bullies and also have a big ego.

Reagan would have been impeached by this demorat congress.  They would not have messed with Ollie North, but gone straight to impeachment back then but they didn't hone their impeachment tradecraft.

So what's the difference?

All of the people who bitch about FOPA and the '86 ban seem to be too young to remember how much was gained under FOPA.  Oh and here's a little nugget... Reagan saw the MG ban and asked NRA if he should veto.  NRA said sign it, it's a net win and we will defeat the MG ban in court.  Who was that NRA person?

You guessed it...  Wayne LaPierre

Reagan never had a GOP house to work with. Trump did, at least in numbers.

but both at their core had a lot in common: both loved their country, were supported by the people, and hated by the leaders of their own party. Trump was just fought by his own party even more aggressive than Reagan was, and Trump fought back.

I lived through both and would pick Trump all day if nothing else for entertainment value.
I will never forget the sucker tax move from RR when people thought they got a tax break when all they did was pretty much change the withholding tables. There were so many people crying when it came tax time. Tried to explain it to the people that it was not real when it was done but everyone loved the feel good man.

Reagan handled the press better.  Handled leadership better. Was able to communicate ideas in an articulate and reasoned manner.  He was pretty well set on his course if he believed it was best to defend the US.  “Reagan had good speech writers”.  Yes.  So did Trump.  What you ignore is that he was able to do it extemporaneously as well.

There are many things I like about Trump but he was a populist and one of the worst communicators Ive seen.  Thats not just hostile press at work.  He was just horrible at speaking.  His weathervaning on “deals” was irritating and fairly constant.

Reagan could never have stood up to the 5 year smear campaign.
He also could never deal with the post-2000 international situation.

Trump
By a country mile .
Had Trump not had SO MANY crooks, commies, cunts and cocksuckers actively destroying him and our Country, and got 4 more years, we'd be carving his face on Rushmore in 2030.

We , as Conservative Constitutionalists, couldn't set aside our petty differences and were too afraid of getting muddy to get behind him enough to push this Country outa the muck of the swamp , so we just spun our tires . . . and are about to be covered in mud, just the same.
Had Trump been elected in 08' instead of FBHO, right now we would be fat cats on the world stage and probably supporting Chinese, Mexican and Iranian revolutions, as they neared their ends . Hundreds of old school politicians would have retired or been ousted and facing serious charges. The globalist puppet masters like Soros would have been taken off the board. The MSM-goons would have shamed themselves into obscurity .

But.....here we are.
Still playing in the mud
