Can someone please explain? |

In, if anyone should be so kind.
That was fast! Thanks fellas! |

Use my username (CousinIT50) as your invitation code.
Full disclosure sharing/invite is a task to become an ambassador? No idea what that means for me but we shall see. |

Pi is a new digital currency developed by Stanford PhDs, with over 10 million members worldwide. To claim your Pi, follow this link https://minepi.com/Derilictsystem and use my username (Derilictsystem) as your invitation code.

Thank you OP, whomever wants an invite just use CS223 as the code

Quoted: I didn't use my real name for it just as an off chance something would be screwy. Well, apparently whoever you invite and vice versa can see your information. Food for thought. View Quote |

Does anyone know any real details about it? The concept makes no sense at all, mine on your phone and it doesn't drain the battery. Phone CPUs are weak and if you use the CPU it will drain the battery. Something isn't adding up here.
Then under permissions it wants all this. This app has access to:Wi-Fi connection information view Wi-Fi connections Device ID & call information read phone status and identity Phone read phone status and identity Contacts read your contacts Photos/Media/Files read the contents of your USB storage modify or delete the contents of your USB storage Storage read the contents of your USB storage modify or delete the contents of your USB storage Other receive data from Internet full network access prevent device from sleeping draw over other apps view network connections control vibration run at startup |

Quoted: Once you setup you can change that, but I didn't see a way to hide the info until AFTER setting up the whole thing, which means that at least briefly your name is visible. I'd also be careful about using a fake name, since that may make it impossible to get your coins out later once this isn't just a MLM ploy to get a user base. Like others, haven’t got the foggiest clue what’s going on in here. But I’ll take an invite.

It's a marketing thing, not the processing side. The processing is done via the nodes which are run on regular systems, it's a different download/process. I'm still digging into the actual design but it doesn't quite seem to be a PoS system either. The closest analogy I can think of is something like KIN, but I have no idea if the tech side has any resemblance. That's just my impression of the way they're promoting it. The idea is to get it out there into a lot of hands quickly and make it easy to use. They'll build a market around that audience. Whether it's to purchase normal goods at vendors who participate or as a way to manage an ad network like BRAVE, we'll have to see. I have a feeling it will be a combination. |

I'll take an invite if anyone has one left.
Edit: got one. Thanks. |

It looks like usernames are invite codes, so y'all are welcome to use "deevil864" as your invite code.
|
|
So the code is just a user name. You can use my user name if you want. Same name here and there.
Looks like it is all based off a timer rather than processing power. Whatever, if it blows up it does, if not no biggie. |

I would like an invite as well. Tried mining Ethereum but don't have the crazy amount of video cards needed to make a profit.

OK, that's enough. Thank you. My inbox is filling up. Thank you.
