So it turns out that this isn't so easy to find.  I guess it is a specialty item around here.

I need to put a drain pipe in under my driveway.

there's been a nationwide shortage of PVC, plywood, 2x4s, and other building materials for months.

This 12 or 15 inch HDPE. It will be cheaper than PVC. Minimum cover of 1 foot. Backfill with crusher run aggregate in 6" lifts and compact each lift with a plate tamper. It will last a life time.  You could also hit up a local contractor for pipe. Most have a bunch laying around.

Yep, but he needs to spec the correct cap.  They have ones that are full watertight, or just soil tight.

A 12" pipe (smallest dual wall HDPE like ADS N-12 comes in) also has a LOT more space than a 10" pipe, which makes accessing the inside way easier if you need to reach in and pull something out to clear a clog.

Also takes bigger items to clog vs 10" PVC.

End caps on pipes with drilled orifices aren't that odd if you have to detain water.

What I was thinking.  The pipe is one thing, then there's the fittings.

Pretty sure I’ve installed 4, 6, and 8” ads n12.  It does come smaller than 12.  However those aren’t the best stash pipes.... I mean driveway drains
