All this needs is the dems wearing mil style uniforms marching around now showing there power

Quoted: You know what strikes fear into the heart of China? A bunch of fat 2nd string soldiers sleeping on the floor of the Capitol building as a display of how strong America is right now. Everything about what is happening right now is horrible and embarrassing. View Quote Yah. Product of bad leadedship though. No discipline, lazy standards, etc |

My only wish is that this is a Trojan horse designed to arrest everyone. A boy can dream.

The visuals of Biden being sworn-in behind rows upon rows of soldiers and police are going to be something. Uhh... remember how the Left was pining for a military coup all last year? I do. |

Quoted: Man that's eerie. View Quote it's ridiculous. Congress (1) is a bunch of scared faggots for demanding this and (2) as another poster noted, they WANT these optics so they can blubber and weep to the press about "We had to surround ourselves with SOLDIERS (EEEEEK!) to protect ourselves from those awful Trump supporters!!" |
|
|
If I'm not mistaken this is the first time since 1861 that soldiers have been quartered in the halls of congress. Last unit who was forced to sleep there was the 6th Massachusetts Militia Regiment after their march from Baltimore following the riots there.

Quoted: During Rodney King riots, we slept on concrete floors in a warehouse. I used my protective mask for a pillow. We spent ten days doing this. Sadly, there were barracks that could have housed us less than a mile away. Amazing how the officers had cots brought in. View Quote Hawkeye and Trapper ordered a canvas bathtub from Abercrombie and Fitch. Could you guys bring air mattresses or sleeping pads? |

Our Government is absolutely useless.
They don't react at all when needed and over react to everything else. Bunch of buffoons. |

Quoted: Never served huh? and stay off them couches! View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Damn they really have all those Joes posted in there without even anything to rest on, on the fucking hard ass cold floor. That looks like shit on their leadership, which given they're in the capitol, I guess goes all the way to the top. Having armed military posted up there looks like shit anyway. It looks like some third world bullshit, or like that part in Dark Knight Rises where they are all fucking around in government buildings doing whatever having kangaroo court. Weird times. and stay off them couches! Swing and a miss. It happening frequently doesn’t mean it’s not a failure of leadership in this instance too. |

It didn't even cross my mind that sleeping on the floor is a "problem" (excepting the fact that it's the capital building). Shit, most of us have slept in WAY worse places. A clean, warm, dry, floor? Sure. |

Nasty Girls are going to fuck that place up way worse than any protesters could. |
|
What a fucking embarrassment.
I bet the Chi-Coms are laughing their asses off at all this. |

I spent 22 years in the Infantry. I've slept in stranger places. However, their CoC should have found somewhere else to crash out, like a gym or vacant conference room.

Quoted: military guarding tyrants as they destroy us. View Quote Did you expect anything different? Most of the German army didn't gas the Jews for fun. They did it because they were cowards just following orders. They weren't willing to risk their lives, their comfy beds, 3 square meals a day, and a pay check for the lives of some pesky little Jews. No siree. Our army is no different. |
|
|
Our folks were RSOI'd, equipped, armed, and sent north to DC in response to the screams for help from the civilian "leadership" there. What DC then did there in terms of having a troop to task mission plan, having life support, having a reasonable force pro and RUF plan, etc is what you see in the pics.

Somebody should photoshop nancy, chuck, and biden strutting around in a mil uniform in some of these photos, great memes
|
|
Bwaaaahahahahahaha At least 'somebody' will attend Bidens inauguration!
|

You think it's funny? I don't have any issues with troops in DC, it is a military district after all, but the imagery of them having to sleep in the Capitol like a bunch of skid row hobos is disgraceful.

Quoted: Does the Whiskey Rebellion not ring a bell? One of the very first things our military was used when our independence was acknowledged by the Crown and other World Powers was turning it against our own citizens. View Quote The whole US Army was only one regiment. Militia had to be called forth to build an army. A couple of pics showed the 29th Division patch - VANG. |
|
To be clear- I don't have an issue with the lack of cots, but I do think it's absolutely 100% absurd that troops are quartered in the building itself.

And I don't see anyone giving a fuck about securing their weapon. I used to have mine in my bag with me or my hand on it at all times when sleeping. DUMB
