Cabelas has been releasing the Federal black packs like 1 at a time every few hours the last couple days... it is beyond frustrating!

5,250 rounds of Federal on the porch when I got home. Never got any shipping notice. It had a big yellow sticker that said “Heavy package”. I dropped it on my foot. Head those yellow stickers, fellas.
ETA: I think it’s spelled “heed”, maybe not. |

My modest 600 rounds of CCI Tactical showed up today.
It will pair nicely with the 1K in Aguila I picked up last week at Sportsman's for Black Friday.

Anyone know of where to order 22lr nowadays? I've been stalking the Cabelas shop aggressively; called them yesterday and they said the federal black packs were actually OOS and the limited stock coming in every 30 minutes is a fluke.

This page lists available options, but be advised that of the 22 options from various sellers, prices range from 13.8cpr to 65cpr
 To me, none of these are viable options, but some of you may be interested. The cheaper the price per round, the more you're buying. That 13.8cpr option is for a 3,250 case of Federal value pack 36gr copper HP for $449, but at least it's several options in one place.https://www.wikiarms.com/group/22LR?sort=3&order=asc I missed the bass pro availability by minutes, and then have missed a few others there while trying to check out since, so I've bought locally here and there from individuals, paying between .07 and .10cpr. I picked up the last 500 round case of CCI stingers for $69.99 from academy on Monday, and then Tuesday I picked up 3 boxes of winchester red box 100 rounders for $6.99 each. Yesterday all .22lr options were gone, leaving only some .22 short. I hadn't seen .22 on a shelf since February, so this week was an anomaly. |

Got mine finally today. Two boxes blown out and loose ammo everywhere. Probably missing 300 rounds or so. Bass pro said they would refund me one box. Thanks again OP so glad to get some more .22.

Both had bricks wrapped together with cling-wrap, then ridiculous amounts of bubblewrap, and wedged so tightly into the shipping box that I had to cut the box open to get it out. Fucking weird. |

Worked for me, $198 with ship and tax for 2000 rnd.
I typically wouldn't buy that or pay that but there might be a lot of 22lr shooting until (if ever) 9mm and 556 are cheaper. |
