For the 4th of July, we will be releasing a brand new product line through Night Goggles, Inc., including a special introductory price during our 4th of July Sale:
Night Goggles, Inc. NGI/PVS-14s, NGI/RNVGs, and NGI/DTNVGs using Elbit XLSH thin-filmed White Phosphor image intensifier tubes for the lowest prices we have ever offered Generation 3, auto-gated White Phosphor systems for. Built entirely in-house using Elbit Systems image intensifier tubes with factory data sheets and other MIL-SPEC components, these "COM-SPEC" systems are the absolute best value for a new WP goggle system without paying for TNVC's premium MIL-SPEC Unfilmed White Phosphor systems, and come backed by Night Goggles' and TNVC's Lifetime Limited Warranty, covering the housing and system for the lifetime of the unit, and 10 years for the image intensifier tube.
Elbit Systems, formerly the Night Vision division of Harris, prior to their merger with L3 Technologies, previously known as ITT/Exelis is one of the premier manufacturers of Generation 3 image intensifiers, and has long been known as an industry leader in visual augmentation systems, including the AN/PSQ-20 ENVG Night Vision/Thermal Fusion system, and was recently awarded the contract for the United States Marine Corps' Squad BNVG program.
The Elbit Systems F9415XLSH and F9400XLSH image intensifier tubes being used in these Night Goggles systems do not necessarily meet the MIL-SPEC requirements of their YH-series image intensifier tubes, however the XLSH and SLH series tubes are still excellent performers, they simply failed to meet one or more of the requirements to be considered a "MIL-SPEC" tube, hence why we are referring to these units at "COM" or "Commercial Spec" units. These requirements may range from certain values being outside of MIN/MAX tolerances or cosmetics.
While the XLSH and SLH tubes are "MIL-SPEC Fallouts," they nevertheless are impressive performers, with the very lowest performance figures approximating U.S. OMNI V performance, often considered to be the first of the modern "high performance" image intensifiers, and still considered to be respectable performers today, to tubes rivalling the best modern "super-tubes." However, this does mean that individual tubes can vary in performance from tube to tube, and no hand-select option will be available for these systems.
Though we do still recommend TNVC's MIL-SPEC systems for those pursuing the absolute best performance money can buy, these new Night Goggles systems are an excellent option those who are looking for a lower-cost Gen. 3 White Phosphor, and are sure to be popular with hunters, enthusiasts, and tactical shooters alike! And because the Elbit XLSH tubes do not fully meet MIL-SPECs, we are able to get these tubes for considerably less than YH-series tubes direct from Elbit Systemswhich is allowing Night Goggles to offer complete systems using these tubes at some of the lowest prices ever for Gen. 3 WP systems. Non-MIL-SPEC tubes should mean non-MIL-SPEC prices!
