Not a new idea. A family friend was making something like it 15 years ago after a car accident left him unable to chase them for very far.

He also used a razor deer tip and fishing line sometimes. The arrow would go through along with fishing line,  Arrow sticks in ground, and he just ties off the other end of the line  that bird is going nowhere.

Ill have to check this out again later.

The video of the first turkey taken was impressive, to say the least, but what happens when Jimbo misses the neck and hits the bird broadside in the wing?  It's too broad to penetrate, but will probably break the birds wing, and he'll run off wounded and in pain.

I think it's a great idea, but only for the better-than-average bowhunter.

Never shot a turkey wth a bow but I know some guys who have.  A difficult task indeed.  As for this broadhead how would it fly from a faster bow?  237fps is not really that fast.  Getting into the 250+ range of velocity even regular broadheads have a tendancy to windplane if the bow isn't tuned well.  So I say this is just a gimmick.  The head coming off was impressive but until I am good enough to call in, draw down and shoot a turkey with a bow, I'll stick to 1 3/4 oz of 5 shot.  Stops them just as well if not better.  Whacked a hen during the fall season a few years back at almost 50 yards using this load out of a super full choked 870 12 guage.
