There is a delay due to a jury member not filling out paperwork.

I think that's a good call.  He's young enough to make that a fate worse than death for his first 10 years.

As he did in life, apparently. Fuckheads, both of them.

I think he still may be tried down here in Alabama for the murder of a liquir store clerk.  They'll give him a choice of "Big Yellow Mama" or leathal injection.

Agreed.  Life without parole is a punishment worse than death for him.

I hope he suffers greatly.

Sorry to disagree but I would much rather pay for a bullet (ok, a dose of poison) than to pay to support this piece of shit for 70 years.

This would be a great time to bring back firing squads as far as I am concerned.

Yeah, it’s going to be a bitch for him but we get to pay the tab for the next 5, 6 or 7 DECADES.  What is it, something like $15,000 a year?  Plus there will be medical care as he gets older.  This bastard could end up costing us well over a million bucks before he takes the dirt nap he so richly deserves.

I would preferred to see him swing at the end of a rope, televised live as warning to others that might consider something similar.

First, life without parole is a bullshit term, there is only such a thing if you are 70 years old. Have any of you ever wondered why someone would plead guilty so as to receive life w.o/parole and avoid the death penalty, it is because after serving a small fraction of their sentence it is reduced to life with parole after 20 years. So a 18 year old can be back on the street and killing by his 38th. B-Day (or less depending good time served).

$15k a year for a bunch of years is still cheaper than the whole death penalty appeals circus.  Besides this isonly the first set of trials.  IIRC you got more VA, then MD and Alabama in line. He aint going no where boys, we go time to wait.

From what I've heard, the appeals process is more expensive than to house an inmate for life.

How many "non-lifers" is this little fuckwad going to infect with militant islam while he's in the pen.  What will those folks do when they "get out"?

I hope he has an accident in Prison.

The appeals proces in some states does cost more than to just keep the bastard locked up. Kommiefornicate, for example, has something like a MANDATORY 17 years of appeals. WTF?!?

Thats why we seriously need to revamp the damn legal system (I agree with a previous poster, there is no justice in it any more). Give the scumfuck TWO appeals. That works out to three chances, counting the original trial. He could have been wrongfully convicted. Hey, it happens sometimes. And after one appeal, he could STILL be in prison without having done the crime he's accused of. But even with as fucked-up a legal system as currently exists, three wrongs just aint gonna happen.

Expand the speedy trial to include the appeals. First one must be done within one month. Second one must be done within one month of the first being concluded. As soon as appeal #2 is over, take scumshit out to the 'killin field', kneel him down, put a bullet in the back of his head, and bill the next of kin for the cost of the bullet. Bury him in a shallow, unmarked grave.

Maybe the tax paying people of this country will luck out, and Mr. Muslim Sniper Fuck will be 'accidently' put in a block with a bunch of big bad whiteboys that are in there for "hate" crimes. And he'll die of natural causes. Because a knife (or sharpened toothbrush) between the ribs just NATURALLY kills you.

The Chesapeake jury had no balls, they only gave him life. Should have tried him in Va. Beach, they gave the other one the death penalty. He's got more trials to go, hopefully he'll get death in one of the other trials.

Yeah, life in prison, where he will be regarded as a Muslim martyr for standing up to "the man."

Read the news articles.  The minister that was head of the jury wasn't going to advocate death of the "child."

White Guilt........that's why that jury could not make the tough decision.

They've been brainwashed into WHITE GUILT.

Why was a minister allowed to serve on a jury in a captial case?

At least there are two other states that can still execute him. They need to get him down to Louisiana real quick.
