This brings to mind the question asked about vehicles in the South "Nice, but can you make money with it?" -- Damn right!
Creating and administrating Web pages.
Manipulating search engines so aforementioned Web pages get lots of exposure.
E-mail, business, private, fun.
Designing business cards, brochures, flyers.
Testing and learning new programs so I can make money trouble-shooting other people's software problems.
Maintaining my schedules, contacts, and notes (works best in sync with a PocketPC)
Scanning and manipulating pictures. A stamp-sized tin-type can look truely amazing when scanned, cleaned up, enhanced, blown up, printed on photo paper, framed, hung on the wall. Especially of there's a collection of them.
Reading books.
Listening to music.
Watching TV.
Participating in Web forums, newsgroups and bulletin boards.
Long-distance, accent-free communication. ;)
Oh, and a handful of simple games.
