I heard on the radio this was a Chinese remedy for social problems. To be possibly applied to Sadam?

i can't confirm that but Saddam is not a Social problem. he is a POW and we should treat him the way we would want our service men treated.

Really? Was he wearing a uniform? Was he fighting (ever)? Was he refraining from concealing himself among noncombatant civilians?
