Took my BIL to pick up cigar tonight. The humidor was so moldy I could feel it in my lungs. I turned around and walked out of the store. Employee said the smell was freshly painted racks
Sure, buddy. Attached File Attached File Attached File |

Holy shit. That would be worthy of the board of health. Certainly would be saying something to the owner.

Health dept fucking yesterday. Every cigar in there is now worthless and that place is a bust. You have spores in your lungs and will likely die of fungus butt. Dibs.

There’s a liquor store here that has a walk-in humidor that looks like that. They knew it wasn’t supposed to be like that and still tried to sell the cigars. Haven’t been back in years.

Speaking from experience, they smoke just fine after a good once over with some Kleenex.
They're just speeding up the process in which to kill yourself.
Seriously? That’s beyond gross. I’ve always wondered about nic based shop procedures whether tobacco or vape. Do these people care at all?

Holy fuck that's bad.
I don't think I've ever seen mold that bad in a smoke shop but the whole thing needs to be trashed and start over. Even if you discount the mold having those infernal drew estates pieces of incense in there would have ruined the rest of the sticks. I agree call the health department on that they are going to get someone sick |

Same thing happened to my humidor. Opened it up for a surprise. Vaccuum, then lightly wipe down with isopropynol alcohol then distilled water. Luckily all i had were cheap flor de olivas.
I thought the purpose of a humidor is to control the humidity
Send all of them to a gas station around Six Flags so they can be used for blunts. They will sell. |
They also have the flavored shit in with the regular cigars which is also a no no. What shop? I actually know a few cigar reps, I'd like to tell them to not send any of their product to that shithole. May be best to PM me that.
Lol, rep friend replied with the name of which shop he thinks it is. Does it end with Studio?

Every stick in that humi is trash.
Shame. I always keep my humis at 65ish. Lower side of things... But safe. I ain't ruining a box of Opus 20ths. Or two boxes of Oscuro oros. Let alone lost cities, etc... |
That looks unhealthy. I would have to call the department of health on that one.
They were all trash before they went in the humidor sooooo.......
Somewhat related...
My cousin in LA just had to have her house demolished for toxic mold everywhere. I'm sure it's got nothing to do with the fact that she works for a vape company... |
I tried to tell a cigar shop once that they had a moldy box of Padron's.
They told me, "No, they are supposed to be that way. It's a sign of a great cigar." Me: "Uh... I have been smoking cigars of every caliber for forty years. I know the difference between plume and mold." Them: "Ok, we'll look into it." It was obvious they had no intention of pulling the box. I went back about a month later and the humidor was taped off with red tape. |
Acid cigars = psilocybin cigars
Maybe you'll hallucinate after smoking them? That is seriously disgusting. |

OP: " Hello, Health Department? Yeah, I think there are products in this store that may kill people. You really should get down here immediately and check this out! I can feel it in MY LUNGS!!!!"
HEALTH DEPT: "What store are you at?" OP: "The cigar store." HEALTH DEPT: *Click* dial tone. OP: "Ugh, they have NO concern for the public's health!!!" ETA: Ironic post is ironic |

It's my storage and aging cooler right now. Might get a wineador for daily use as well here soon. |
