Found a decent deal on a full sized USP 45. Pistol is used, but like new. I've always loved their stainless finish on those guns. Fo or no @ $550?

I just picked on up for $440. Not stainless, but with working night sights. Didn't need it either, but at that price, it was a fo.
Decent price for a stainless, but be aware extra mags aren't exactly cheap.
$550 for a stainless? I'd pick it up if I were in the market. I picked up a Tactical recently and really like it.
I have a full size stainless 9mm. I had a full size 45.
The 45 is a huge gun for what it is. I wear large gloves and it was a difficult pistol for me to shoot. |

Price is fair.
You'll never find a more reliable, durable handgun. Buy it. |
You can never go wrong with a USP.. I say fo
550 is a good price for the .45 |
Durable, reliable, and accurate. Holy SHIT that trigger reset, though!
I've owned a few Tactical, Match, and Expert models, and enjoyed them. |
Usp is nice but v1 da/as trigger is meh. Convert to light LEM and you might like it better
One of the best pistols, EVER MADE. Fo.
more reliable than Glock. And MORE accurate too. |
Buy it. Makes a great range/NS handgun as well as suppressor host.
iDk if it lives up to the mythology, but it is certainly worth owning at that price. |

View Quote and I fondle, stroke or play with it more than ANY of my Rifles. Not one malfunction, and it shoots laser beams. |

USP45 is a great pistol. I started getting malfunctions after firing a few thousand too many rounds without replacing the recoil spring. After throwing a nice, new one in, and it was right back to the way it was day one.

Handled one yesterday. I have large hands but holy carp this thing felt big.
Other than that it seemed a decent gun. |
I have a lot of pistols and shoot the usp better than most of them.

I have relatively small hands and still shoot it well. You just have to get used to the size.

The USP45 is a solid pistol, and that is a good price for one that isn't an LE trade. I can't stand DA/SA, but you can easily convert it to light LEM, which IMNSHO is just about the best trigger system ever devised for a carry gun. I prefer the updated HK45, but it is twice the price.
In other words, fo, then order a LEM conversion kit from HKParts. |

You want it, you can afford it, buy it. It's a good price for a .45 USP.

I keep seeing these threads pop up about the USP. Making me want to pick one up.

HK purposely jammed a .45 bullet in the barrel and then fired for affect. Barrel bulged, jam was cleared and accuracy was still within .025 from a new barrel.

It is a light DAO trigger, with a short reset. I have three HK's set up that way. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

LEM trigger? What does this mean? What is the HK LEM trigger? |

I snagged a police trade-in 5+ years ago for $450...3 mags included.
About 4 years ago, I bought the replacement lanyard thingy that doesn't have the integrated hammer lock. I now feel better about this pistol. |
It's a ridiculously good pistol. Mine has never once failed for any reason and I've had it for 19 years.

Buy it. If you need to justify it call it your woods pistol. The stock USP will fire .45 Super just fine.

Thanks for all the responses. Picking it up tomorrow, I'll post some pics
