what concealed carry holster for office attire?  Good old HR in its infinite wisdom re instated its dress code. So no more tee shirts, Jeans and hats for IT in a factory setting.

What are the options for Business Pro attire?

I recently purchased a desantis "slim tuk" iwb holster for my (full size) m&p 40 and it's very minimal in size, it's tuckable, fairly comfortable, secure and, last but not least, it only cost me $25.00 (brand new) on amazon.

Really even an Uncle Mike's IWB will work. Especially if you have a single stack. If you are expected to have your shirt tucked, just wear one large enough that you can blouse it over your piece. I carry every day and co-workers have no clue.

I'd probably go with a small pocket 380acp or a small 9mm IWB tuck-able holster, or both!! ha. Ankle holster is an option as well, but I'm not a big fan of it personally.

A long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, I carried a 1911 in a Galco SkyOps... it was a bitch to find just the right belt to fit the damned Y-Clip.

I've carried a CompTac with just about anything.  I hate tucking over a gun though.  When I was a salesman, I was in a dress shirt/tie/slacks combo every day.  When I started carrying, I added a sport coat so I didn't have to screw around with tucking and trying to to print.  Never hurts to look better than your coworkers either.

I use a raven vanguard with my 26 most days appendix. Sometimes tucked, sometimes not.

Sometimes I use a comp-tac ctac with my 19.

I think the key here is to make sure whatever you get is tuckable.

Would you get fired if it was OWB or visible, or do you need true Concealment.

All my IWB holsters are tuckables.  So I can go with a PPS or 642 or P32 1:00 or 4:00.  I've carried a BHP and a CZ75 tucked but it's not the greatest (in Florida).

Obviously the best is appendix, or the P32 in a pocket for me.  As far as the 'best' holster I have, that would be my only Kydex IWB which is the PJ Holsters Tuckable for the Walther with a J Hook.  Really does a great job of keeping the conceal-ability of the PPS while also providing a terrific carry in dress clothes.

I wear a PPS in a crossbreed supertuck in horsehide. Very comfortable. I still do not have a good answer for shirt & tie days.

If I'm remembering correctly, and if I'm wrong I apologise, you're carrying a little weight? Or are you currently capable of comfortably carrying appendix.

Again what gun are you carrying?? Something small on your ankle may be the best bet.

Or belly band.

Might not have been a bad decision, there's some recent articles that dropping below business casual is bad for productivity and professionalism in a lot of cases.

I find it hard to conceal well in business casual than with a suit, so I pocket carry in a recluse.  I do work in a really low risk environment though.

I used to carry an xds in a white hat holster with khakis and an untucked button down shirt.  I set the holster on it's lowest notch and the front strap of the gun ended right at my belt line.  It pretty much vanished.

So what's the dress code? Polo's? Button down shirts? Do they have to be tucked in?

I conceal a 5" 1911 in a jmcustom aiwb holster with any untucked shirt. T-shirt, Polo or dress shirt.

Tucked in polo? IDK but here's a pic of my with my m9a1C (g19 sized) at 1oclock with a tucked in button down shirt.
