They all learn the meaning of the word "futile".

Some learn sooner, and some learn later.

Many don't learn until it's too late to get out.

I agree with all the burnout and what not, I work corrections and there is a reason there is a huge turnover.

I never ever drive my vehicle barefoot.  I know some folks do all sorts of stuff.

Some of the people I work with will change shoes for the drive home and then change clothes and shoes again as soon as they are home.

There have been days I threw my boots in the trash and put on the spare pair of boots I kept in my truck to drive home.
