I was going to follow up on another thread posted a week or two ago, but I'll be damned if I can find it. The search function is limited to posts I started. Anyway...
On April 6 I ordered 2 CQB slings, 1 CQB belt, and 1 pair of Hi-Tec Magnum Pro 8 boots from Botach Tactical. They charged my CC immediately and I received an invoice in the email stating that all items had been shipped and a tracking number.
Items were scheduled to be delivered on Monday April 9.
On Wednesday April 11 I called and found out that the items had not been shipped because they were out of the CQB slings. Due in early the following week.
Ok, so I let a couple of weeks go by and email them on April 24. No response to email. April 25 I get 2 messages on my voice mail from Botach which my wife saved and forgot to tell me. So I called on April 27 and the guy says they're out of stock on the Pro 8 boots but he can substitute Pro 6 boots. I say no thanks and ship me the rest of my order. He says they had my 2 slings and a belt and would ship them that day.
I followed the tracking number and it wasn't shipped on Friday or Monday. So Tuesday, May 1, I called and checked on my order. He says it was shipped on Friday and he doesn't know why UPS doesn't have it in their system.
Tuesday afternoon, I got a voice message saying that they found that my order had NOT been shipped, that they were out of the slings, but they had my boots in stock.
I called again this morning, and found that they didn't have my size boots in stock after all and they were again out of the CQB slings, but they had my belt. CQB slings are due in by the end of this week. I asked them to hold my belt and ship it when the slings come in. I asked if they had my size boots when I originally placed the order and she said they did but somebody else probably got them. They're not getting anymore, not at the $29 sale price.
I also had to remind her (again) to credit my CC for the boots that they charged me for.
Here it is almost a month after placing my order and I still don't have my stuff but it's already paid for. Add me to the growing list of disgruntled Botach customers, soon to be an ex-customer.
