Anybody eat these? I recently learned that these were a New England thing.

Haven't had one since I was a kid. Was thinking about them and decided to grab some Fluff today.

Ate a spoonful and hot damn, I was in white trash heaven.

I make one with crisscrossed strips of PB, jelly, honey, nutella and marshmallow fluff.

Its delicious, as long as your inner 5 year old is alive and well.

You're like a trailer park Gordon Ramsey.

the fluffernutter is delicious.  white trashy, yes, but delicious.  I didn't know they are just a New England thing, though.  eat your hearts out, you non-Yankee savages.

My dad used to make something like that. Instead of bread he would use Ritz crackers. As a kid it was a real treat. Don't quite appeal to me as an adult. Maybe I'll try them again, with nutella as the above post suggested.

Hell yeah...real treat growing up.

Try it on classic Pepperidge Farm white bread and pan fry it like a grilled cheese.

Got to use butter on the outside and fry it quick on high heat.

Food of the gods, right next to kimchi.

I lightly toast my bread, and the peanut butter MUST be extra crunchy. None of that smooth stuff.

Probably. Paleo chefs are fucking wizards.

Edit: this was supposed to be a reply to alamTX.

Never knew about them as a kid here in Seattle until I met a friend who was born in New Hampshire.  His parents made them all the time, just like that.  A jar of the stuff became a staple in my house after that.

I must have never been five... that looks awful. But I believe in your right to get diabetes and will pick up arms (probably yours when the betus gets them) to protect it.
