I want the most "bang for my buck" in the AWB fight. Sometimes I feel the NRA's ILA is a black hole people are supposed to throw money at.

I will NOT bash the NRA (tho I have a few suggestions for them)

Look at Gun Owners of America. They are a "no compromise" bunch.

Good luck.

I would tend to send the money to the NRA-PVF, the "political victory fund".  They give out your check directly to candidates running for office.  PVF is like Emily's List for gun nuts.

The ILA is good. Unlike NRA donations the ILA can ONLY be used for legislative action.

It is the best option I'm aware of.

Definitely the NRA-ILA or NRA-PVF.  Spread some of it around to GOA, JPFO if you can afford to, but the simple fact is that the NRA swings a big stick.  A stick so big that it got Bush elected, helped us win the senate, helps to get CCW legislation passed, the list goes on and on.

Something else that you can do that is equally important is to help recruit a new NRA member every once in a while.

I joined both NRA/ILA and GOA, and thinking about life membership in NRA. I feel that having both covers all the bases.
