Went looking for it today, stopped at three different bookstores. None had it in stock.

John Ross is the correct author, right?

I only saw it available in hardback for $29

Yup, John Ross.  I had to order my copy.  Only in hardcover as far as I know.

Your best bet is to order it from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1888118040/qid=1056081057/sr=2-1/ref=sr_2_1/103-1945152-8855803.  Also cheaper if you don't ship it quickly.

Had a friend who tried to order it through Barnes and Noble a couple of years ago but was told by them that it was on their "red" list and they would not order it because is was considered subversive literature. B&N are full of crap.

I got mine at a gunshow.  I paid either $15 or $19 for it, can't remember which.  Well worth it though!

I gotta go now, my pigs are getting hungry!

Easy folks just trying help.  A simple google search will probably produce 'bout as many links.  You'll note I said buy a copy.

But support Mr. Ross by buying a copy too.

That is bullshit.
The author spent a considerable amount of time creating the work and that site just ripps it off. The book is in print, there is no reason to rip off the author, and hell he is a member here.

The author signed mine at KNOB CREEK in April 2003.  The best way to acquire the book. [jump]

Sometimes ya jus can't spell "the"

(by mp3 I assume you mean any lossy audio format)
About 50 hours... most of which I ripped myself.

And all of my software is on the up and up (most of it cause it is free as in freedom, and free as in beer)...

But why would you rip off a fellow ar15er? Also not that he said in the thread that he announced himself in:

"FYI I will be posting to the EE soon about some preban Sendra XM-15s I have for sale. (Incurred a bunch of debt with my stroke and then divorce, and I'm selling off some things to pay it down.)"
