P.S:Do NOT buy them all up until after 10am this morning after I purchase mine.

Damn.  My firearms budget is zero for the next 2-3 months.

Get 'em while you can, folks.

Went down and got mine.

Picked up a SA scope mount for 69.99, too.

Now to get some glass...

What do you guys recommend in scopes or something like an Aimpoint?

I.O.R 2.5-10 MP8 retical or modified mildot. If ya what more power an I.O.R 4-14 on a quick release mount like an arms 19 and than an aimpoint on one as well. But thats just me.

No shit? I thought you could walk out with a scope.  Boing boing boing.

Nothing like timing I think the SA scopes were on sale a few weeks ago when the Federal XM193 was.

Depends on what you plan on using the gun for. Ya got a gun that is capable of hits to 1000yds. I chose my scopes for different reasons i think than most people. I pick them based on how i plan to use the gun. Check these out the prices are higher than the scope you show, but they are quality, i've heard may times that the glass rivals, and in some cases is better than a lot of more expencive scopes. I got a chance to shoot one(4-14x50) and liked it so much i bought one for a bolt gun i'm having built.

Lifetime guarantee and from what everyone says, they stand behind it.  Of course I'd read the fine print.

You're right, the price is good.  Unfortunately my priority and budget point towards a Garand first.

Damn...that is a good price. Even with the 7.5% tax, you're only looking at $1,074.95.

I bought my M1A at a gun show and haggled with the tax. I still ended up paying $1200.

Don't forget the DROS fee, which will push the total price up to $1100.  Still not bad, though.

Right on the money, boss.

I paid 1,101.79 plus 75.00 for an SA scope mount.

Not bad considering you can't get any other semi-auto battle rifle in .308 here.
