Steyr SBS ProHunter in 7MM Remington Mag.
Brand new in the box. Best part is that I got it for $450 out the door with all the DROS fees and taxes.
Oh I cant wait to scope it and shoot.
Gonna put on a Burris Black Diamond 2.5-10x40. Its gonna be a sweet setup

I used to have a Remington 700 in 7mm Rem. Mag.  Very nice cartridge.  Congrats on the new purchase.

Nice!  What kind of glass you going to put on it?

Oh, and if I were you I wouldn't wear that man-licker hat out in public.  [:X]

Got a Burris BLack Diamond picked out for it
30mm and 2.5-10x44. I useually dont like anything over 40mm for a hunting/stalking gun but Ill make an exception for this gun and cartridge

Nice rifle.

I have always wanted a rifle in 7mm Rem. Mag.

If you went for the 7mm ultra, why not go for the .300 ultra mag? I am  just wondering, not to knock your decision.

Its not the Ultra mag. its the standard Remington Mag. I wouldnt spend any extra money on those guns really. They are pretty expensive for the ammo and I dont have a need for them around here. I really didnt need this one. but for the price I couldnt pass it up. Theres nothing here in Cali that cant be taken with a .270win that I already hunt with

Oh, I forgot that most don't go hunting for the largest animal that they see. Good caliber for your purpose though. Nice rifle. When you go for a .300 ultra, go up to Montana, they have moose that break 1200 lbs.

Ya Id like to hunt up north. At that point Ive got a 45-70 that I think fits the bill nicely
