The only effect i could envision of overturning this case would be alot of unwanted children being born to mothers who are ill equipped to care for them and an expansion of the socialist welfare system to compensate. Any additional unrelated benefit is really not worth it. I doubt the gun grabbers will be sidetracked by that particular issue.

It will cause the bulk of the public to vote for the first canidate that promises to get abortion rights reenstated.
And that will NOT be George W. Bush. And its doubtful that it will any canidate that will be pro-gun, fiscally conservative, or care in any way about prosecuting the war against Islamic terrorists. |

It would further polarize the population on abortion and any other issue that can somehow be connected to it through "guilt by association". It's NOT in our interests as gun owners to mix social issues.
Roe is a [b]compromise[/b] between unrestricted access to elective medical abortions and allowing states to ban them altogether. It does not provide carte blanche abortion rights, states are free to regulate elective abortions past the second trimester. If you don't like where the bar is set in your state you are free to move to another. |
