OK, it probably looks perfectly normal to you, but there is, in fact, something VERY surprising about this picture. Let's see if anyone can figure out why it's special. Tell what you see.
Edited to say: I'd better give credit where credit is due. This picture was taken at Cedar Camp near the eastern tip of the upper peninsula of Michigan by my brother. |

Are we looking at how easy it is to stroll into the U.S. from Canada?
Does Michigan border Canada? Give me a break, I'm a damn foreigner [:)] |
I was going to say something obvious like there is someone in camo in the left side of the picture...but the more i look at it, I can't see the base of the trees on the left side. I would venture a guess that it is a well hidden shelter or a hidden stash of equipment.
Or Sasquatch is hiding behind the third tree on the right? Predator is using stealth mode up in the pine in the center? Or it was an accidental shutter discharge that actually turned out properly? |
Here's a hint: That is only a picture of rocks, trees, leaves, etc. Nothing one wouldn't expect to find in a forest - except for one thing. You're looking right at it, but you aren't expecting it so you can't see it.

Only place left in MI w/o Kid Rock Or Eminem crap plastered all over it?
It's part of the Niagra Escarpment...the same rock formation that makes up the Door County penninsula of Wisconsin, then forms a loop to come down to Niagra Falls.
i see it now, it is the faint shadow of a man, kindalike an outline.....
At the base of the 3rd tree from the left is the almost extinct Copper Headed Rattle Moccasin.
I'm going with DK-Prof on this one.
It's a shot of our porous northern border. |
the outline of binladen?
crossing the canuck border oh my god, he's headed for motown |

The trees right in the center form to make an anguished face (white colored - seems to be screaming in pain) there is also something in the trees to the right of that.....
There's NO litter or carvings on the trees. This must have been taken in the fifties. |
is this actually the side of a cliff that these trees are growing out of?

Almost looks like a deer/elk face sticking out of largest tree just left of center.
I see the face of a man just below the 2nd tree from left. if you look close you can see 1 eye and a mustache and mouth!
if you look close in the center you can see 2 eye sockets for some big animal its right in the center.
You guys aren't thinking big enough (or maybe too big?) [lol]
The perfect outline of a young naked chickey pie in the rocks ?
how about the tree's are pine and it's called cedar point. |
I figured it was going to be one of those things that changes to a scary face and screams at you. [:)]
Well, it ain't much, but here's everything i came up with.... I think I see a blackish cross on the rock at the bottom-right. Is there a deer hunter in the thicket of branches at the top-center? The ground sure seems very rocky to have all those big trees coming out of it. Oh, wait, there's no litter on the ground. That can be unusual sometimes.... Okay, unless there's supposed to be an Ewok in the picture or something, I got nuthin'.... |
A very large patch of un-molested moss?
Moss growing on the SOUTH side of the trees/rocks? |
Tagged so I can get the answer if you ever give it. Plus, except in the sky islands, we ain't got no greeninitity like that here in southern az
is that a cat skeletan up in those trees? the worlds' first documented proof that some will climb a tree and get so scared of coming down that it actually did die up a tree?

The surprising part of this picture is not any one thing. It's the whole picture. There's nothing hidden. There is only ordinary rock, moss, leaves, and trees in this picture. You guys are thinking too hard.
Oh, and this is about 20-30 miles from the border with Canada. It's a quarter mile or so from Lake Huron. |

There is definately a elf reading a newspaper at the bottom of that tree AND your bro is the only person to ever catch the REAL PREDATOR on a still pic. Nice work. [;D] |
I'll guess...
Is there a ladder up against the trees in center of the picture? Richardson |

** nearly all of the mature trees have no branches growing toward the camera
** there may be something "off" with the second tree from the left (almost like its not really a tree but a defect on the film). ** no shadows are cast |
This area would typically be under water/covered with ice this time of year?
It is the geographical divide where on one side of the rock, water flows to lake Michigan...the other side, it flows to Lake Huron?
Agreed. Tagged so I can find out the answer.
All I see is a forest. |
Ok So is that a giant mushroom directly above the mossy rock on the bottom right? or is a snow shoe?
Other than that I dont see anything to different about it. Abunch of trees that have grown together thats normal. i dont see any human parts made out of trees, rocks, or moss. So I dont know you got me now give us the answer. KC |
