Here's a pic I took to show some guys over on DU. It compares the difference between a 'high-powered' AR-15 cartridge (5.56) to a 'civilian' Remington 7400 cartridge (.30-06). I think we need more out there like this to show people just what we're dealing with when we talk about the AWB.

I've shown this example to anti's before and it worked. Well, sort of. Some of them said that the .30-06 should be banned as well. [whacko]

Yeah, I know what you mean, and I'm glad you brought that up. In order to win this war, I think that it needs to be ALL of the gun owners against the antis. The antis know this, so their goal is to divide us by claiming to be for the hunter but against the 'AW' owner. Since we havn't been able to get a lot of hunters to side with us, we might as well force the antis to turn against the hunters. Either way, it's the gun owners being united.

With pictures like this floating around, at least it should make it obvious how useless the AW law is, since big scary hunting rounds are still going to be out there. If they wanna come out and say that they're banning everything, well, more power to 'em, 'cause then every backcountry deer hunter should have a good excuse to come out of the woodwork.

Nope, got the dummy (have 4 actually) and the brass from a Tiger Cruise aboard USS Nimitz a few years ago.

20mm ??? I have an Empty 40mm Shell.

When I was in Cuba we used to use empty 40mm shells as shot glasses.  I even had to make a special trip to the amnesty box the night before I flew off the island cause I didn't think they would like me taking the 2 live HE rounds that I had sittin in my base housing with me.
