The H2 is a peice of crap! My sister saw one of the prototypes about 6 months before they even came out, and she even said it sucked.
Its an oversized RAV4 as far as Im concerned. |

H2 is a piece of shit. It's built of light sheet metal and shares NOTHING with the Humvee frame or body except maybe the wheelbase measurements.
An H1 is a much tougher vehicle, and it's a pale shadow of the Genuine Article HMMWV. Take your H1 for a swim and it'll drown. Take an HMMWV for a swim (if you have a fording kit), and you'll get wet and keep going. CJ |

whats funny is that dipshits pay 50K for a hummer 2 and the frame and running gear is a basic truck with the hummer body on it, u can by the truck with the same exact running gear for 30K, but its a hummer. LOL
hummer 1 is a whole different story! |

The H2 shares NOTHING with its military design descendant.
The M2 is just a crappy show piece placed onto a Suburbon frame. People wanted the Hummer when it was first seen because it was a big tough brute. Hummer was then transformed from a steel, canvas, kevlar, and fiberglass tank into a leather, Bowes sterio, glossy paintjob over priced SUV. They think there is still a following in the hummer "class" so they had the modle evolve. It should NEVER evolve unless the military verson does. I don't think that the M2 will be rolling into Korea Next year. BISHOP |

Thats not Lebrons H2, his is copper colored. The H2 may not be as rugged as an H1, but is a hell of a lot more practical if you have to drive it everyday. |

You can take a HMMWV just about anywhere, I know, I've almost flipped them, but they stayed their course, even tilting on two wheels! The H2 is nothing but an overgrown, pimped out, whanna be, version of a suv. It couldn't handle half the stuff I've put a hmmwv through or half the stuff I've seen them be put through.

A few notes:
- Lebron is a kid who just graduated from HS and is skipping college to join the NBA. His mother went out and bought him an H2 (with all kinds of 'bling bling' like TVs and a PlayStation) and got the loan based on the fact that he'll be getting several million a year once an NBA team drafts him this summer. There was a big stink about it because people claimed it negated his 'amatuer status' for playing HS. Whatever. - The best ad I've seen is some defaced posters around DC. Hummer has an ad for the H2 that shows it some snowy area with a title that says "Great at the Poles." Somebody(-ies) used a marker to edit them so it says "Great at [i]melting[/i] the poles." Bullshit but I have to admit it was clever. - I can't think of any purpose that an H1 or H2 can serve that something else can't do as well or better. I can buy a nice full size pickup AND a nicely built Jeep for the price of either and the Jeep will go places the H1 can't and the truck can carry more than either one. |

I stopped by the local dealer that sells the HumVees here. The H1, or "original" HumVee is priced at.....$111,000. A bit steep for anyone but a fortune 500 CEO.
The H2 is priced at about $57,000. Its heavy duty as far as pickups go, but the chassis is nothing but a pickup chassis. Little more beefier here and there but not that much. I like the looks of the H2 but no way can I ever afford that. |

I found a good use for the H2. The H1 isnt the only option. Infact the H2 makes one heck of a handy target to an H1 with a .50cal mounted up top. [}:D]
