One of the guys ran home for lunch and checked his guns, turns out his 44 caliber Glock is actually a .45 and his 38 caliber Beretta is really a .380, wow, how can these guys even buy the correct ammo when they can't even remember the caliber of the guns? And, if you don't even know the calibers of the guns you own, that would lead me to believe that they rarely (if ever) practice with them, oh well, ignorant and pro-gun is better than ignorant and anti-gun.
Reminds me of a good friend that has a pretty large gun collection (inherited from his deceased father) but does not know squat about any of them. At the range, he is fumbling to take the safety off a Sig (no safety), tries to fire a 1911 without taking it off safe, and once again trying to take the safety off a Glock (no safety). I tell him to pick one handgun and become intimately comfortable with it's operation but he never listens. Chances are, if he ever needs to use a gun, he won't be able to operate it, specially in the middle of the night with an adrenaline dump. Doesn't matter anyway as his wife makes him keep the guns and ammo separate and locked up so I doubt he would be able to find the key to the gun safe, open it, pick a gun, then find the key to the ammo safe and find the right ammo before a thug shoves a gun in his face. Oh well, what can you do?
