The Who frontman Roger Daltrey has confirmed reports AEG Live/Goldenvoice will host a mega-festival in Indio, California October 7 – 9 featuring rock royalty Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Neil Young, The Who and Roger Waters. The singer confirmed the festival and The Who’s participation to the BBC. "What a great weekend it will be,” Daltrey told BBC 6 Music. "They’re all going to be there, on the one spot, at the one time.”

Think I'm gonna have to venture out to Cali for that.

I really can't see myself going to a festival like that to see those acts, unless I really had to check them off my bucket list, just to say I've seen them.

There's some quiet dignity in knowing when it's time to hang it up. Don't get me wrong - I'm a huge fan of all of them, but...let's be honest. I'm a fan of what they were.

I dunno. Maybe it depends on who else is playing.

Yep, when I saw the title, I didn't think it was Classic Rock. It would be could to see them as mainliners in between some more current rock bands.

I'll be 36 then. But a group of friends that I grew up with in Cali are talking about going, so getting everyone back together for a three day party might just be worth it.
