[b]Winchester Model 70 Stealth - 308[/b]
Looking for some feedback on this rifle.
I have an opportunity to pick one of these up from a range buddy.  He has to pay taxes and is looking to get some quick cash.  Here's the scoop;
Purchased 6 weeks ago, 20 rounds through it (watched him clean it), Harris 6-9 bi-pod, Turner black sling w/Uncle Mike swivels, Leupold QR rings and base, Bushnell Elite 3200 10x40 Mil dot scope - All bought at the same time.    
Is $900 too much for this package?
If not what is a fair offer?

My local gun shop figures any used gun (newly manufactured) is worth 80% of original value. I'd try to get it for $750. I think $900 is giving him most of his money back. Up to you. (My local gun shop sells the Win 70 Stealth for around $600 new. Bipod is $75. I don't know what the scope and rings went for new.)

Thanks for the info. Did some checking locally and found your info dead on.  I got it all for $790 he had a pelican gun case to go with the deal, but passed on it (might have been part of the difference), have a decent case for already.
