Considering what it's most likely been through. I have no problems with it, especially if they do a detail strip and clean after. I'll be watching this when I get home View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

It has never crossed my mind to do that to my Luger.. I baby mine

Great video, and honestly necessary due to how many rumors there are about the Luger.

I wonder how well it would have worked if he dropped it in the mud with the action open. Seems like the mud was all external.

I'm going to show that video to my BYF42 non Black Widow next time it mouths off.
Then we'll see who talks shit. |

How does this prove anything?
The action was closed and every hole was plugged and/or filled. |

How does this prove anything? The action was closed and the barrel every hole was plugged and/or filled. The barrel I understand. I wouldn't want to blow up a pistol in my hand either. Also, a barrel obstruction with stop any pistol. I was implying the action, magazine, and magazine well. Using the pistol in a muddy trench, mud is going to be on, and getting into everything. A better more realistic test would be to leave the pistol loaded, clean, and holstered. Dunk hands in mud, draw pistol, fire until empty and drop magazine, grab and load a fresh magazine, change weapon, fire. |

What would be the point of such a test? The P08 is a relic and as far as I'm concerned, its performance in mud is a quality of interest only to historians at this point. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I find it ironic you call the Luger a relic yet your avatar is of a gun of the same design generation! |

Frankly there are a few WWI-WWII era handguns that would still be viable pistols if they were modernized. The 1911, and Hi-Power are still fantastic handguns, and viable defensive options to this day. If the P-38, and Luger were modernized, I'd say that even they have some utility. Especially if you made a P-38 compact. |

How would dunking your hands in mud be more realistic? Who the fuck dunks their hands in mud and then doesn't even wipe them off before going to shoot? |
