The Titans have agreed to trade the No.1 pick of the draft to the Los Angeles Rams for the 15th overall pick in this year's draft, two second-round picks (43 and 45), and a third-rounder (76) in 2016. The Titans will also receive the Rams' first-round pick in 2017, along with their third-round pick in next year's draft. View Quote Rams get: #1 pick in 2016 Titans get: #15 pick in 2016 #43 pick in 2016 #45 pick in 2016 #76 pick in 2016 1st round pick in 2017 (most likely top 10) 3rd round pick in 2017 Good trade for the Titans. ETA: Now the Browns have gotten in on the action, trading the #2 pick to the Eagles for the #8 pick, #77 pick, and #100 pick, along with Philadelphia's 1st rd pick in 2017 and 2nd rd pick in 2018. |

Am I reading it right that it was a trade of 1 pick for 6 picks?
|

Doesn't matter. The Titans will just draft 5 tight ends and a receiver with a recalcitrant parole officer.

Good on the Titans. The Rams are stupid. They got a pile of draft picks for the RG3 deal, but they squandered them. They alienated their old community just so their creepy owner could collude with the NFL against their own rules to move a team back to SoCal (NFL's big goal).
Now since they're the new kids on the block in SoCal, they have to gen up some kind of support and interest, so the Titans were more than willing to give the #1 pick in this years draft (looks like an avg. draft year at best...no real standout stars), for a lot of free good in the future. Getting three picks in the top 50 this year and an extra first round next year (which will be a high number because the Rams will suck again due to no QB/offense)...The Titans did good and the Rams didn't. |

Word is the Rams want to take Carson Wentz at numero uno View Quote A good quarterback is a large part of having a successful franchise, 1st round draft pick quarterbacks are not locks by any stretch of the imagination, not to mention there is a lot more that goes into a successful tem than the quarterback (just ask the Pats; I know Brady and Beliceck get all the headlines but their way of team building involves doing the exact opposite of this: trade down, stockpile picks, draft smart) I think this deal is going to be a disaster. |

Hate to break it to you but the Rams are hardly new kids on the block in SoCal. Its kinda were they belong. Kinda like the Cardinals for St. Louis. But yes, the Rams are stupid.

Didn't they learn from the New Orleans Ricky Williams implosion?

Rams better hope they win the damn bowl this year, if they suck out they give the number one pick back to Tenn next year which is said to be a much better class.

Sounds like something Al Davis would do.
Raider Nation. Just win baby. |

What a terrible stinking trade. Andrew Luck or Peyton Manning in the draft maybe...barely maybe...nah not worth that price. Horrible deal.

interesting. this is almost certainly a QB move, which improves the odds that ramsey is still on the board for DAL at 4.
