OK, as a service to my fellow board members, and being the cheap bastage I am... I am going to share with you what I consider to be the exceptional value of the week. If I have no money to spend, at least I can take joy in your getting a good deal.
In the market for a good, inexpensive, highcap 9mm pistol? Money a little tight post tax season? Maybe you have a bit of a refund burning a whole in your pocket. In any event, have I got a deal for you!
The recent Federal Arms Corp (FAC) ad lists an Argentine manufactured FM Highpower 9mm pistol for $240.99. Built on Browning contract machinery, they are arsenal refinished, have a new slide and barrel and come with one magazine. Rated as very good condition and my FFL ordered one and believes that is a fair and accurate assessment. I believe this is a Mark II model highpower and it takes standard highpower mags, unlike the FEG Highpower clone that you usually see around this price.
Cost shipped to my FFL was $264.24, so transferred it should be less than $300. Highcaps can usually be found in the $15-25 range.
FAC's website is www.gunsnstuff.net and the pistol can be found on page 28 of their latest advertisement.
Standard disclaimer, I am in no way affiliated with FAC, just a previously satisfied customer.
