I do have a Pietta SAA clone in .45 that I absolutely love. Pure fun to shoot the thing.

Though I need to file the front post down to about a nub one of these days.

Ruger Blackhawk .45 Colt, paired with a Rossi '92 clone.  All the handling of the "good ol' guns," but with the strength to handle Ruger loads.  Powder puff up to moderate stump-puller rounds, they're pure fun.

Winchester 1866....carbine length with the brass receiver.

One of the best-looking guns ever, really.

Anyhoo.

Don't throw fudd guns out of the sleigh just to get even for the mistakes FUDDS made back in the 90s.

We need to stand together more now than ever.

I have the same combo. 4 5/8 and 16". They're well used with lots of deer, hare, grouse, beavers and yotes with lots of miles on/off trails and in my canoe. They've kept me and my hound fed for months at a time in the woods.

Unfortunately for them, this is my new favorite.

Shiloh Sharps .50-70:

I've paired it with an 1860 Colt and an 1873 Colt.

This.  FUDDs might like em, but they aren't fudd guns.  These were the high capacity "assault weapons" of their day.  Look up a lemat revolver.  Nothing Fudd about it.

Jeff Cooper called a pistol caliber lever action a "Long Island Assault Rifle" for a reason.
