I was at an Atlanta Farmers Market show about 7 years ago. Some young thug candy was buying handguns for her "man" who could not. She bought about 6 in two days. The dealers got wise and called the cops. They boxed them in - she was 2 cars down from me so I was boxed in also.
Sherriff called the ATF - they were told they don't work Sundays and let them go.

OK. This is why they supposedly have gun laws: to put people like her away. She should have got ten years. Jalita Johnson is black. She gets probation.
But some fifty year old white guy in Pennsylvania just got years of prison time for having an unregistered MG. It's clear that gun laws are just a way of getting at conservative white men. |

Is the sentence in line with the sentences handed down in other straw purchase convictions?
The fact that the gun was used to kill a cop is not relevant IMO. |
