It's just the other idiots out there that can't text and drive, you will be okay. 23 year old blew a stop sign and nailed my wife today. He never saw her or the stop sign, but I am sure carrying on a conversation with his thumbs was more pressing at the time. At least she is okay. Just gave the car an oil change and the tires are like brand new. *sigh*

Too bad law makers won't give any teeth to texting and driving laws. And if they did ARF would complain it's too harsh.
I say treat the shit like pretty close to DUIs punishment. But, thats not happening, so make sure you drive defensively. |

Insurance should give you about an extra $350 if the tires have tread above a certain %, if they total it out.
Was rear-ended at a stop light and had my car totaled out back in July. Tires were 850 miles old. Couldn't take them, but I got an extra $350 on the total loss valuation for them. Woohoo, I guess. |
