You did great man. My best deal was a Mossberg trophy hunter in .308, brand new with a cheapo 3-9x and a box of rem core lockt for $240 out the door.
That rifle was so ammo sensitive though it drove me nuts. Very hesitant on ever buying anther Mossberg bolt gun again. It did have an excellent trigger though, their "lightning trigger system" |

Don't know if I'll end up hanging onto it or selling it, my girlfriends brother-in-law has been wanting to get into hunting...might eat the cost and pass it along to him, ever since he got out of the marines he's and dealing with two kids he's been stressed and bored. |
