Corded hilti rocks.  Cordless hilti sucks.

This is what you want for battery sds. I don't remember the last time I have used my 15 or 56 since getting the m18 7/8.

cordless worries me a bit for a bigger drill, but my cordless bandsaw and hakzall are godsends.

I can tell you that the 7/8 m18 feels nearly identical to the 5/8 a36 in performance....but the m18 battery actually lasts longer.  Now I know that isn't a completely fair comparison, but it is what I can go on.

Eta: the 1" fuel sds is out now too.

I come here for some good old fashioned confirmation bias, instead I am forced to make actual decisions.

Ordered the 1" Milwaukee with the vacuum.

Even if it's close to my 15yo old Bosch...It just made sense. 90% of our company tools are Milwaukee fuel.

I wish I would have waited for the 1", maybe I should just get the 1 1/8th now .  Could you update this thread when you receive it?  I'm actually interested in how well/if the dust extractor works.

Will do, should have it tomorrow. Gonna have to find some shit to drill though. The HILTI one for the t6 works good if you take care of it. I'm sure this is the same. We do a lot of work in hospitals, so it's a huge time saver vs tarps or clean up.

It is.  I'm heavily invested in both M12 and M18 tools.  Have not regretted it for a second.

Have quite a few Hiltis with cords, too.

I do trail work and we just installed a new bridge. The concrete footers were giving several of the drills trouble. My DeWalt cordless with the right bit went right through (including the rebar).

Updated op with shitty pics...sorry. youtube vid is uploading now.

The vacuum works well. Pretty cool, better than the HILTI I'm used to. We'll see after I put it through a real job.
