I use the typewriter method until most all of the corn is gone, then I go back and use lathe to strip the cob clean.

If I'm in a hurry - typewriter only....

Typewriter here.

My grandfather used to carefully cut it all off with a sharp knife before eating it with a fork.  He thought it was unbecoming for a gentleman to eat pretty much anything, without utensils, save for snack foods.

Overbites and underbites are addressed by adjusting the height of the axial center of the cob in relation to the mouth. Left to right, 4 rows of kernels at a time, 3 if you are a child. Nothing else is considered acceptable.

That's just plain bassackwards - you need to do it the other way around to be socially acceptable around these parts....

No option for the correct way, which has been posted multiple times: lathe ends, then typewriter the rest.
