I do. I dont know what it is about it but to me it seems like the most "American" style of architecture even though it originated in France.

I'm a pretty big fan myself, there's some cool theaters out there with nice art-deco styling too....I saw where someone did their whole home media room that way and it looked badass.

I love it I have been working on a science fiction story for the past couple years set in the late 20s partly so I could have a backdrop with lots of Art Deco buildings and spaceships.

Art Deco is beautiful.
The Chrysler Building is the epitome of Art Deco for me. Late '20s/early '30s style: the eagle heads, stainless steel sunbursts on the top, the works. It may not be as tall as the Empire State Building, but it is more beautiful in my eyes. Here's a pic I took of its front doors:

I wish they had the technology to build more skyscrapers during the art nouveau period. It would be pretty cool to have some tall buildings around that looked like Isengard or really curvy and detailed.

My favorite architectural style.
Nifty tidbit about art-deco, it's based on stylized abstractions of every day and classical organic objects. If you look close at the abstract shapes, you can see the original classic architectural themes.
flame/fire pit 
The lily and papyrus 
A feathered wing 
Fountains and water 
A rustic waterfall 
To me, these are some of the most beautiful buildings ever built.
