Going to changed the tranny fluid, I already know about the cooler change so you can get all the fluid, In 1995 there was no such thing as DEX6 just DEX3 which was recommended .

So is there a benefit to going Dextron 6 or just keep it Dextron 3?

Backwards compatible so it doesn't matter.

Cost wise, save yourself the difference and buy D3 atf.

Dex 3 was the original fluid.  You can waste your money on the NEW IMPROVED shit or stick with the stuff it came from the factory with.

These are the listed improvements of VI over III. If I was going to the trouble of changing fluid I would pay a few extra bucks the latest and greatest but you can't go wrong with either one.
