In a world where God is not welcome, the new McDonalds commercial is refreshing and took a certain amount of corporate balls.
Good on ya |

I noticed that as well. I still won't eat there (food is shit) but I will continue to buy my morning Dr. Pepper there.

Glad to know my belief in God is acknowledged by a massive multinational corporation.

Good for them. I stopped at a MickyD's today to grab some Big Macs and fries. Love their fries. Not as good as their old fries in the heavy grease.

|
Saw an article on yahoo about this advert where people were all but hurt about a corporation tugging at heart strings and exploiting tragedy for sales

It is probably not coincidental that the country's mood has turned conservative lately. I suspect McDonald's marketers picked up on the trend.

They are big enough they don't have to worry about any backlash about their ad choices.

I am an atheist and I am not offended. Whataburger > McDonald's though... Just saying.

lowest rung on the fast food ladder but maybe I will have a bigmac tomorrow

Most FSA types and lower middle class people tend to be quite religious. They know their audience.

McDonalds sells food to poor people. Poor people are religious.
Good marketing on their part. |

Just makes me think they'll say anything for a buck and they're tired of losing market share to Chick-Fil-A. But I'm a cynic.

Have y'all seen the version with Freddie Krueger and Jason Voorees. I had to rewind it make sure I saw what I thought I saw. Love McD's now,...not really.

Don't know what to feel about that, all I care about is my habanero ranch bacon cheeseburger. My that is one tasty sandwich. The only way to make it better? Ditch the white cheddar and make it blue cheese. That would be awesome.

P View Quote I have to say ,their new ads are very arresting, they work as something interesting to look at. Beats the pants off the endless medication ads we usually see over and over. |

Why is it atheists always have to jump in and point out their beliefs, just as bad as the gays in the attention seeking. |

Nice commercial but their food IMHO is nothing more than low grade vomit.

I think they are throwing their shit everywhere in the hope it will stick and perhaps maintain their profits.
I do enjoy using their bathrooms. |
